Private residence
Champ de Mars
Paris
The creation of this Parisian “pied-à-terre” of 80 sq.m was inspired by the work of artist Chen-Jiang Hong. Contrasting colours served as the main theme for the compilation of our decorative vocabulary. By reducing surface areas to their simplest form of expression, the intimacy of the rooms is preserved while saving space. Associated with walls of untreated black oak, the Bulthaup kitchen and its seats of orange-fawn leather come fully alive. In the bedroom, the sycamore walk-in closet contrasts with a fitted carpet in wool and silk. Japanese screen dividers filter natural daylight. The different sources of lighting, curtains and sound are controlled from a tablet or smartphone.
